took some night pictures at ringling bridge
So I got my new Nikon D60 and wanted to try it out.
Instead of going through the maual and watching th dvd on how to use it I just popped the battery pack in and went out looking for places to take pictures.
I decided I wanted to hit up the ringling bridge since it was at night and I could maybe get some cool shots there. I didn’t use a tripod for 90% of the pictures so most all of them came out pretty shaky but still way better than my previous camera.
Later than night after I reviewed all the pictures I figured I would read the 250 page manual that came with it so I could figure out which buttons I should be pressing. Turns out, know which buttons to press works way better than the “shotgun” approach of smashing all the buttons and taking the shot hoping for amazing results.
Took me about 3 hours to get through it, all the while testing each and every suggested funtion. All I have to say is WOW! This is an amazing camera! It can make anyone a decent photographer. (after they have read the manual)
Below are the shots from the ringling bridge.
